The new Topping D30 Pro DAC features not one or two but a total of four CS43198 Cirrus Logic DAC chips that handle all of the audio conversion accurately and offers spectacular dynamic range and noise reduction. The inclusion of these chips enables the Topping D30 Pro to achieve a Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise rating of 0.00009%, meaning that the audio signal is 99.99991% free of distortion and noise. So each channel of the D30 Pro is arranged in parallel compared to 4 conventional balanced channels. This increases the output capability of the D30 Pro exponentially.

TOPPING D30 Pro is embedded with a 2nd Gen 8 core XMOS XU208 chip along with a USB mode that supports decoding of PCM 32 bit/384kHz and DSD256 natively. Topping D30 Pro comes with customised Thesycon drivers to enhance the Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) playback on your Windows computers so you can enjoy your music at the highest quality. ASIO settings can be complicated but not while using the D30 Pro. You can easily connect your D30 Pro to a PC without the need to install drivers. Set your preferred sampling rate, and you are good to go. Kindly note that the Thesycon driver is compatible with PCs working on Windows 7 or above. Mac computers do not require the Thesycon driver to achieve ASIO.

The Topping D30 Pro has been designed to offer connectivity with various devices. To enable this, the D30 Pro features USB, Optical and Coaxial connections on the input stage and a fully balanced XLR and RCA connection for the output stage. The Coaxial and Optical inputs used in the D30Pro supports Dop DSD64 and PCM 24 bit 192kHz natively. Both RCA and XLR outputs have a SINAD over 120dB, meaning that any noise occurring naturally from the system isn��t audible. Since the D30 Pro��s noise floor is extremely low, 0.9uVrms on the single-ended output and 1.1uVrms on the balanced output, it allows for bumping up the volume of powered monitors without introducing hiss. A Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD) is centred around clock processing and digital signal optimisation to restore the original digital signal. Topping D30 Pro also utilises 8 Independent Low Dropout (LDO) regulators to supply power to a range of different loads. These are embedded to ensure that there is no interference among loads. Both RCA and XLR connections achieve a 120dB SINAD, which means that the RCA transmission also has the same performance as the XLR connection.
