Ordinary aluminum nipples have a bad reputation for rounding off, but the Taper-Hex Nipple shape makes it work better than brass. The tapered hexagon shape means that the spoke wrench can easily slide down the nipple to fit perfectly and transmit maximum torque without deforming. The new pro-level spoke wrench is comfortable enough for doing daily full-on wheel builds and features G-Sport’s proprietary taper-hex nipple slot on one side and the traditional 3.2 (Zero/Black) spoke nipple slot on the other.
