The same is reflected in the A&norma SR25 MKII, which has undergone a complete upgrade in design and audio architecture to deliver life-like audio. The SR25 MKII features an updated Quad-core CPU along with the Cirrus Logic CS43198 Dual-DAC chip. It also extends native playback support for DSD256 and adds compatibility for MQA and LDAC protocols.
UPGRADED AUDIO ARCHITECTURE OFFERS ULTRA HIGH-RESOLUTION SOUND
The all-new Astell&Kern A&norma SR25 MKII delivers improved performance across the board compared to the SR25, including bass response, dynamic range, soundstage and imaging. The SR25 MKII utilises Astell&Kern's latest audio design technology for Bit-to-Bit playback with resolution up to 32bit/384 kHz. Native DSD audio is available up to 11.2 MHz, along with LDAC in addition to Qualcomm庐 aptX�� HD support resulting in true audiophile sound quality.
FULL 8X MQA DECODING FUSED WITH BALANCED OUTPUT FOR CLEAN AUDIO
The Astell&Kern SR25 MKII comes with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) support. MQA authentication is a badge of approval, guaranteeing players master-quality audio output. The device can perform 8x decoding of MQA files to deliver outstanding sound quality. To further enhance the signal path, the SR25 MKII now comes with 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm output options allowing you to connect to various devices. These connectivity options allow you to enjoy your music without worrying about adaptors.
ENJOY MUSIC WIRELESSLY WITH BT SINK AND SHARE FILES VIA AK FILE DROP
The Astell&Kern A&norma SR25 MKII comes with the newly introduced BT Sink function. This feature allows you to connect the SR25 MKII to an external device via Bluetooth, similar to connecting a smartphone with a BT speaker. Music from an external device, such as a smartphone can now be played back in high-quality on the SR25 MKII using the BT Sink function. SR25 MKII also comes with the new AK File Drop function, making file transfers easier and more convenient. Using AK File Drop, you can freely transfer files wirelessly through a PC, smartphone, or FTP program located on the same network. Music file management is now possible with a wireless solution.
OFFERING 20+ HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE WITH REPLAY GAIN FUNCTION
The Astell&Kern SR25 MKII can offer a playback time of up to 20 hours with one full charge, thanks to its optimised, energy-efficient circuitry. COMPLETELY REDESIGNED CHASSIS TO DELIVER ARTEFACT FREE AUDIO
Astell&Kern A&norma SR25 MKII comes with a redesigned chassis. The top and bottom edges of the bezel are angled, giving the impression of a smaller rectangle floating freely inside the chassis. The pattern on the side is designed to draw attention to the volume wheel. This redesigned chassis is made of aluminium and features noise and electromagnetic shield cans to reduce interference with the audio signal. This design is further enhanced by applying a highly conductive, hyper-pure silver plating on the shield cans for superior shielding that provides excellent audio performance.
